Are you looking for solutions to replace a full arch of missing teeth? At Texarkana Denture & Implant Studio, we offer denture solutions tailored to your individual needs. Whether you're a first-time denture wearer or are in need of replacing an existing set, Dr. McCatty and his team will ensure you have a comfortable and rewarding experience from start to finish.
What Are Dentures?
Dentures offer a reliable, time-tested solution for replacing a full arch of upper or lower teeth. Today's removable dentures are superior to those bulky, fake-looking ones of the past. They are much sleeker, lighter, more comfortable, and more functional than ever before, completing your smile and boosting your confidence.
At Texarkana Denture & Implant Studio, we offer two main types of dentures: immediate and conventional.
Immediate Dentures: Immediate dentures are fabricated in advance and placed after extracting any failing or severely damaged teeth, ensuring you don't go without teeth for a single day. However, as the area heals, the gums and ridge will change in shape, so your immediate dentures will need adjustments and relines to continue providing a proper fit and function. You'll typically wear these dentures for about 6 to 9 months until you're ready for your final dentures.
Conventional Dentures: Conventional dentures are fabricated from impressions of your smile after the area heals, taking into account every subtle detail of your ridge and bite. We are also happy to offer conventional dentures for patients with damaged dentures or those who have been without teeth for six months or longer. Your new replacement teeth are meticulously crafted to match your natural teeth, delivering beautiful, natural results.
What Is the Denture Process for Immediate Dentures?
Here is what you can expect:
- Step 1 - Your Procedure Day: On your procedure day, we will extract any failing or severely damaged teeth and place your immediate denture. Your immediate denture includes your care throughout the healing process.
- Step 2 - Healing and Adjustments: As your mouth heals, we provide care to help maintain comfort and function. You will receive follow-up visits, adjustments as needed, soft liners during healing, and one hard reline. Most patients heal over approximately 6 to 9 months.
- Step 3 - Your Final Smile: Once healing is complete, we will create your final denture from new impressions of your mouth for the best possible fit, comfort, and function.
Note: If you are using dental insurance, your final denture is billed at that time. Your insurance must still be active for benefits to apply.
Why Choose Texarkana Denture & Implant Studio?
Many dental offices only adjust/reline the same denture you wear during the healing period for long-term use. At Texarkana Denture & Implant Studio, we create a completely new final denture after healing for a better long-term fit and comfort. Your immediate denture includes all healing care, and you are able to keep both your immediate denture and your final denture.
Simple, Upfront Pricing
We provide a complete treatment plan from the beginning so you know what to expect and there are no surprises. Your treatment plan covers your immediate denture, any extractions or surgical needs, and your final denture. Our structure works the same whether you are using insurance or paying out of pocket, and our overall pricing remains very competitive.
Patients with Dental Insurance
If you are using dental insurance, your final denture is billed after healing is complete. Your insurance must still be active at that time for benefits to apply and to avoid additional charges. Our team will walk you through what to expect so there are no surprises along the way.
Same-Day Services
At Texarkana Denture & Implant Studio, we offer an in-house dental laboratory for your convenience. Same-day services are available on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed. We are here to help make your patient experience as smooth and seamless as possible.
